MPRA March 2019 Meeting in Cobar.
Members thrilled to meet John Moriarty and Preston Campbell.
The Murdi Paaki Regional Assembly met in Cobar from the 5th to the 7th of March. The Assembly was met by regular presenters from Aboriginal Affairs, Premier and Cabinet, Prime Minister and Cabinet, NSW Ombudsman, Tenant Support and Education Program, Westpac and the University of Sydney. New faces included the Western NSW PHN team and Darriea Turley, as well as the first Indigenous football player selected for a national team, John Moriarty with his Moriarty Football and Balarinji team. We were also graced with the presence of Preston Campbell, Indigenous professional Rugby League player and ambassador for Hutchinsons Building.
